I am a little behind on posting about Taegan's first time attending swimming lessons. I had originally thought about not putting her in them this summer, but Justin thought it might be a good idea this year especially with the pool in the backyard. So at the middle of May I set out to find somewhere that wasn't full for her to get into. I had some friends suggest where they go and it was perfect! It is in a backyard and the lady brings in lifeguards and they do them there-two classes going at one time. Taegan's class was the pre-guppies and she had 5 other friends in her class. She LOVES to swim and has shocked us all about how she isn't shy in new situations. She walked right over, sat down in her chair, and waited for directions:
She loved her teacher and loved spending each morning for two weeks in the pool. I would walk with Laekan in the stroller while she did lessons. It was great for all of us. She learned so much and by the end of the third day she came home and started diving for things at the bottom of our pool!!! By the end of the two weeks she was swimming across the pool without her arms and holding her breath!!! I am so proud of her.

On the last day they played games, got to go down the big slide, and had hot dogs and chips. She can't wait to go back next summer and I can't wait to send her. She did fantastic-best money spent this summer.
