Sesame Street Live

Two Saturdays ago my mom and I took Taegan to see Sesame Street Live and she loved it. We sat next to some people that I knew and they had a little girl that is one month older than Taegan. The girls had fun dancing and singing with the show. She is still talking about it and loved telling Justin about it when we got home.

Getting ready for the show to start.
Big Bird.
Singing along with Elmo.
Part of the show.
One of her favorites-Abby Cadabby.

The middle of September...already???

I can't believe how terrible I have been about keeping up on the blog. I am taking pictures and keeping up with life, but haven't had a chance to get on here and get things up!!! Life is flying and we are trying to just keep up with it day to day. The first week in September Kyle, Melissa, and Kinsley came to visit and we spent a lot of time playing with them. It was so neat to have all three grandkids together and the whole family just hang around and relax together. Taegan did awesome with Kinsley-she hugged and loved on her a lot. Sharing was still a bit of a challenge, but she was getting the hang of it. She continues to love on Ayla and give her lots of kisses. So sweet.

KSU football has started and Justin and I have season tickets. Taegan stays home with my parents while we go to the games. We are 2-0 so far this season-keep it up Cats!!!! My mom is currently without a job(her company had a huge companywide layoff) and so we are getting a lot of time with her. This has also started a new passion for us-garage sales!!! I will have to take some pictures of our great finds for you and show them off. It is crazy what you can get at a garage sale if you just look. I love it! We have had tons of luck with clothes for Taegan-I will be sad when garage sale time is over.

Last week Taegan started "school" at our church. She is going to AWANA and loving it. We call it her school and she gets so excited every Wednesday to go play with her friends. We are working on her being less shy and actually talking to her teachers and friends. She chatters all the time at home, but then gets real quiet in certain situations. Her class is called the Puggles-I love it. She even has a special shirt she wears to school. So fun. We also started MOPS this week and she did great playing with others there too. I am so proud of her for going with it and making friends.

Some new things she is doing are:
*Can say all her ABC's.
*Counts 1-11
*Says burm-baid for bandaid(this is soo cute I had to include it)
*Can complete a 10 piece wooden puzzle on her own.
*Is doing great with the potty still

While Melissa was back we took all three girls to get their picture taken together-this was the WORST fit I have ever seen Taegan throw. She sat still for 1 picture and that was ALL. I couldn't believe it. I was so embarrassed as a Mom. We were supposed to go play in the mall play area and do lunch after-but we went straight home she was so awful. At least the 1 picture she sat still for was decent. Ugh I hope that doesn't happen again.

This week has been a long one-Justin had his first week of apprenticship school out of town. He has been gone since early Monday morning and will be back late tonight!!! We can't wait-I am letting Taegan stay up and wait for him tonight. She has talked to him every night on the phone and it has been so cute. We are so ready for him to be back-and we have all weekend together because there is not a home game Saturday!!!

I will be back soon with pictures!!!

Going Strong...

Priceless...
