Lazy weekend...

It is snowing here again-I'm not sure if I have mentioned this before, but I am DONE with the snow. We have about 5-6 inches sitting outside right now and I want it to be 60 degrees and sunny. Taegan wakes up each morning, heads to the back sliding glass door and points to her play area outside! Poor thing just wants to get outside and run. It will be here soon, but days like this make me think I could go crazy before they get here.

Justin has been working all weekend so Taegan and I have been playing around the house. Today we colored, did stickers, playdoh, babies, and puzzles. Now she is down for a nap(not alseep yet) and I am going to go read my new book I started. I am reading So Long Insecurity by Beth Moore and it is great! I had read about the book on a few other blogs and it seemed like something I really needed to get my hands on and jump into. Wow-what an eye opener it is!!!

No pictures today because I have been lazy and haven't taken any lately, I will get better. I have also straightened up my scrapbook stuff and will be getting started on that soon too!!! I am super behind, like still working on the pregancy scrapbook and Taegan will be 2 in April-YIKES!

Have a good Sunday.

Happy Valentine's Day

I know this is a day late, but bear with me! We celebrated our special day last Tuesday because Taegan and I were heading out of town on Thursday and wouldn't see Justin again until Sunday-which would have been miserable to go out and fight the crowd. We went to dinner at On the Border, came home and baked cookies, and read books and played the rest of the night. What a special night it was for just the 3 of us!! Taegan is getting much more verbal and interactive so she really helped with the cookies and loves playing with us and having our undivided attention.

Getting ready to put the cookies out...
Loving on Daddy
Putting the cookies on the tray(yes they are the Nestle cookies!)
Enjoying them with Daddy.
Taegan and I headed out on Thursday with my Mom for Oklahoma City. They have a huge craft show there that we wanted to check out. What a blast we had-4 hours of talking on the way there and trying to entertain Taegan, but we made it! We shopped until we dropped and then shopped some more the next day. I love being with my mom and just being silly. We never got lost, and managed to find a lot of good stores! The first night when went to the mall behind our hotel and let Taegan play in their play area...here she is-
This is the little boy she played with-he even pulled her in the boat by her bottom because she couldn't quite get in...mom and I couldn't stop laughing!
Getting a pink heart balloon from a clown-she LOVED watching him make it for her.
On the way home....tired girl!
Sunday was spent relaxing, doing lunch with Kat, Colleen, and Kenzie(cutie!), and more relaxing. We did go get Taegan a big girl potty seat for our toilet that she thinks is the greatest thing! I hope this will help spark some interest in going potty.
Opening her present from Grandma Becky and Grandpa Greg-she loved the M&Ms.
Check me out on my new potty!

Remodel finished and the Dentist...

We are just now starting to get our house back to normal...but we are not even close yet! I thought I would get some pictures up of what it looked like before the carpet and then I will take some after the rest of the furniture is back in there and it is decorated-which I am hoping is this weekend!!! It was a crazy three weeks getting it done, but it looks so awesome. We are so glad we did the new carpet and the basement, what a treat it is coming home to that!

This is a bit hard to see, but the colors in the basement are grey and purple and we did purple around the inside of the windows.
This is the purple wall...where our flat screen will hang.

I promise to get more up really soon!!! Just trying to keep my feet on the ground and get things done. Taegan has loved being able to go up and down on all the floors finally-and play with her toys which were put away for the carpet layers. Yesterday was her first trip to the dentist, and I was nervous. She started not feeling the best on Monday night and did not sleep well at all-so I thought for sure the meltdown would wait for the dentist. NOPE-she did great!!! I was so proud of her.

Laying down with the sunglasses on watching the TV above her!
Letting him brush her teeth, count her teeth, and put special vitamins on them!
He said her teeth look really good and that she can come back in a year!! She was so proud of herself walking out of there with a new toothbrush and a toy. What a big girl:(

Saturday was the KU-KSU game and Justin and I got a chance to go to Manhattan for the ESPN College Gameday and then we hung out in Aggieville until the game. Justin headed to the game and I headed home to watch with Taegan!
Ready for the day!
Love this little girl!!!
Here she is pushing every dolly that she has in the house around in her buggy a couple weeks ago. She even has one in a backpack hanging over the handles!
I got her a play camera because she has become interested in mine and she walks around with it and constantly takes her picture!!!
Relaxing in her chair.

Going Strong...

Priceless...
